Hello!
My name is Paige X. Cho and I’m a social media marketer, writer, editor and creative-type based in Melbourne.
I’m an Account Manager at a digital marketing firm in Melbourne called Get Glossy, where I manage social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest for several different fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands.
In a past life, I was the editor of Melbourne music website Paper-Deer, as well as working as a freelance music journalist for publications such as FasterLouder, Beat Magazine, MTV Australia/New Zealand, Fashion Journal (I know this is a fashion mag but I interviewed Bertie Blackman so I swear it counts!) Albion Blog and CitySearch.
My prior marketing experience includes freelance writing, marketing (online and offline) and publicity for music artists, music firms and businesses. My roles have included social media management, guerrilla marketing, publicity, radio servicing, website copy and more for clients such as Bendigo Hotel, Property X and music distributor Valleyarm (in the position of marketing manager across all facets of the business).
When I’m not swearing at my computer while writing, I can be found drinking chai lattes, scoffing vegetarian pizzas, annoying people on Twitter or pinning crocheted items from Etsy onto Pinterest. I collect accidental scars and antique books, and love grunge music. My favourite writers are Neil Gaiman, Kurt Vonnegut, Alan Moore and China Mieville and I don’t barrack for any football team (but yes, I live in Melbourne).
