So stoked to have been a volunteer at Open House Melbourne again!

Was an info hub volunteer last year (pink hair, pink scarf and all) and was lucky enough to be a building volunteer this time round at the majestic South Melbourne Town Hall (pic of the front facade below, taken with my shitty camera phone). Lots of curious adventurers, a couple of grumpy folks (seriously dudes, it’s a free event) and super lovely volunteers to work with. Coincidentally, there was also a marimba competition happening at Town Hall that day, so it was sweet having live music to soundtrack the day.

I also headed down to the incredibly fascinating Public Records Office and Collingwood Town Hall. Annoyingly, I couldn’t go to any of the other places I had shortlisted (Tapestry Workshop, Freemason’s Hall, Melb Uni’s anatomy school) because they were busy and the volunteers there wouldn’t let me use the front-of-the-line perks of being a volunteer. That said, I also couldn’t be bothered being a total psycho waving my volunteer badge about.

Pics taken with my brand new lense will be up soon/when I have a spare moment to edit them.
