Instagram drawing video!

July 23, 2013

Have played around with a couple of Instagram videos! Here’s my second attempt at a drawing vid. Please forgive the weird angle – you have absolutely no idea how HARD it was to draw with a makeshift tripod covering my view.

Two Halves, Take Four!

July 22, 2013

As promised, here’s my fourth shoot with Kat for the Melbourne fashion and beauty blog Two Halves! We shot this outside Bar Americano on Presgrave Place a couple of rainy weekends ago. My favourite picture of the set is this black and white shot because everything looks so still and silently beautiful (does that make sense to anyone else but me?). Full blog post here. P.S. Give their Facebook some lovin’!

Singapore, revisited

July 21, 2013

I spent the first nine years of my life in Singapore, but I really call Melbourne home now and haven’t been back to my hometown very often since. So when I popped up to the Northern Hemisphere to visit my grandmother this week, it was almost like visiting an entirely newly and delightful country. I ate anything that didn’t look familiar (there was a hell of a lot of food involved) and for the first time in my life, I went drinking in Singapore. I loved the city’s mix of really earthy, non-pretentious areas against some truly inspiring temples, sitting next to some of the world’s shiniest/tallest/brightest/largest feats of architecture. Some pictures from my Instagram below.

…And now back at work. Totally wish I could have fit Singapore’s balmy weather in my 30kg check-in luggage because I’m positively freezing in Melbourne!

Shutter Happy

July 11, 2013

I did another shoot with Kat of Two Halves around the RMIT University campus in the city. Check out the Windswept blog post.

P.S. Did another shoot with Kat outside Bar Americano on Presgrave Place, and she looked totally badass. Pictures soon.

New Facebook insights

July 4, 2013

Loving Facebook’s new Insights. Most of the tables are fairly similar to the previous Facebook statistics, but there are a couple of interesting new graphs like this one:

Have to say that knowing when your page’s fans are online is definitely useful in terms of knowing when to post.

Looks like the other girls at Get Glossy don’t have it yet, but hopefully everyone will have it soon!

(In the mean time, I’m just waiting for Twitter to give us some stats. Any!)
